purple chrome variant may have minor flaws!
A/B grades will have very minimal/minor flaws! best of the batch!
C & D grades may have more visible flaws- such as: plating scratches, minor areas of uneven enamal, small areas of chipped chrome plating & possible dust/debris in effects (this mainly refers to diamond powder background & flaws in this area are not super visible/obvious)
LOW GRADES will have flaws! flaws may be visible & these pins are discounted to reflect this! low grade flaws may include: larger areas of chipped plating/ areas of rough plating, light scratches, small areas of uneven enamel, dust/debris in screenprint/diamond powder background & minor face flaws!! *please keep these flaws in mind when purchasing!*
**ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE!!** because the diamond powder is hand-poured over the background there is minor variation in the diamond powder pattern! each pin's background is unique but true to the art! i personally love the different pattern in the diamond powder! i just thought i'd mention it!!
GRADING:
A/B grades- very minimal, minor flaws if any, not noticeable at first glance. flaws do not impede pin design. best of the batch. A/B grades may have slightly more very minor flaws than my typical A grades. the most common minor flaw is very very small chips in chrome plating & variation in diamond powder pattern in the background of pin!
C/D grades- possible issues with plating, scratches, or screenprint, more noticeable than A/B grades but nothing super obvious at first glance. C/D grades may have visible flaws or face flaws. all horribly flawed pins are removed from batch and will not be sold.
LOW GRADES- pins with larger flaws: larger chips/scratches in plating, uneven enamel texture, minor face flaws, or dust/debris in effects. flaws do not effect overall design of pin! however flaws may be visible at first glance! please keep this in mind if you decide to purchase a low grade pin!
